HVAC Services

HVAC services for Southeastern Massachusetts homes

Heating and cooling are at the core of what J+A does. We install, replace, service, and clean residential HVAC systems across Lakeville and the surrounding towns — gas and oil furnaces, boilers, central air, and ducted and ductless heat pumps.

What makes us different is what happens around the equipment. Because we carry plumbing, excavation, and carpentry in-house, we can run the condensate line, dig the trench, and patch the wall ourselves — the parts of an HVAC job that usually mean waiting on somebody else’s schedule.

FAQs

HVAC questions, answered.

Still unsure? Ask us directly — no obligation.

Should I repair or replace my HVAC system?

We consider the system’s condition, repair history, expected repair cost, and your comfort needs. We explain the repair and replacement options before recommending a next step.

Can a heat pump really heat a house through a Massachusetts winter?

Cold-climate heat pumps are rated to produce heat well below freezing and are now the standard installation in this area.

How often should the system be serviced?

Once a year at minimum, ideally heating in the fall and cooling in the spring. Many no-heat problems can be caught during fall maintenance.

Do you handle the ductwork too?

Yes. Leaky or undersized ducts undo the benefit of good equipment, so duct sealing, repair, and new runs are part of the same job.

Are rebates available for HVAC work?

Mass Save and local utility programs offer rebates and financing on qualifying equipment, particularly heat pumps.
