The plumbing side of J+A is what lets us finish mechanical work without waiting on another contractor — but it stands on its own just as well. Stuck shutoffs, failing supply lines, aging or damaged fixtures, and the length of galvanized still hiding in the wall of a 1940s colonial.
A lot of houses in this area are also on private wells, which brings its own set of problems: well pumps that short cycle, pumps at the end of their life, and water chemistry that eats fixtures. We handle that side too, and can dig when the trouble is out in the yard.

How the work goes
Find the cause, not just the symptom.
01
Describe the problem
Where it shows up, when it started, and whether it is getting worse.
02
Trace it
We follow it back to the actual cause rather than patching where the water appears.
03
Repair or replace
We explain both options plainly when a repair is a stopgap.
04
Close it up
Test under pressure, then patch the wall or backfill the trench ourselves.
Equipment & brands
We use standard trade-grade materials and fixtures, and are happy to install owner-supplied fixtures where they are sound. Your written proposal lists the materials and fixtures included.

FAQs
Plumbing questions, answered.
Still unsure? Ask us directly — no obligation.
Do you handle well systems as well as town water?
Yes. A large share of the homes we work in around Lakeville, Rochester, and Freetown are on private wells, so pressure tanks, pumps, and treatment are routine work for us.
My water pressure has dropped everywhere in the house. What causes that?
Common causes are a failing pressure tank or pump on well systems, a partially closed or corroded main valve, or interior corrosion in older galvanized supply lines. Because those have very different fixes, we test before recommending anything.
Can you dig if the problem is outside?
Yes, and this is where being one company matters. Excavation is in-house, so a buried line repair does not mean coordinating a separate outfit and a separate schedule.
Do you do full repipes?
We do. In older houses with galvanized supply, a phased or whole-house repipe often solves pressure and water quality complaints that no amount of fixture work will fix.
Will you patch the wall afterward?
Yes. Our own carpenter closes up drywall and trim we had to open, so the job finishes rather than just ending.
